⋘"Cataract" comes from Nisroch's second demo, a three-track effort offered freely through Bandcamp and acting as a precursor to the current full length debut the blackened deathgrinders are writing.

"Searing limbs leaps straight at you as soon as you press play, like opening the cage of a rabid animal. Rabid is exactly the right term to describe this, but for all it's ferocity, this isn't a messy outing. The discordant fury is accompanied by a level of precision that intensifies the vitriol to more than blind rage.

Cataract opens proceedings with an energy that threatens to overwhelm itself, before driving itself directly toward annihilation, a whirlwind that stops as abruptly as it started. Giving no time for rest bite Malediction hurls blackened venom punctuated with shrieks of desperation before seamlessly pouring back into grind that begins to slow and bring itself to a forceful lurching conclusion. Both of these throw themselves outward with unbelievable force in under two minutes, and yet remain full and coherent entities for all their self destructive speed, managing to condense an incredible amount of bile into such a short space of time.

The only song of the three to last longer than a minute, Searing Limbs is over four times as long as its two companions, and manages to cram a huge level of variation into that time without losing focus. Beginning in a similar way to malediction, blasting force gives way to a section that of riffing that would be at home on early Anaal Nathrakh material, before throwing itself back into blistering attack, burning through more blackened sound before seamlessly dropping tempo into pummeling riff without giving us a chance to realise how it got there. Finishing on a lingering discordant bass note, the whole affair lashes out violently, but not wildly. This a direct, intense and indeed searing experience. Like a hit–and–run, it hits you with unexpected and violent force and is gone before you can do anything about it.

Nisroch are a blackened hardcore band from Jacksonville, they have released so far a Demo and a Split and man... i really hope for a full-length soon. The music of Nisroch is solid and very cohesive, giving you really little few time to breathe, in fact, the only time you have is to engulf just a little bit of air before being sucked in again to the depths of these dark and murky waters. The quality of these tracks are in pair with other well-known acts like Heartless, Full Of Hell, Hexis, Brutality Will Prevail, Young And In The Way and many more.

If you enjoyed these guys Demo wait until you hear the tracks from the split with the band Crooked Look. Nisroch definitely are in another league, they are on the right path, destroying and burning everything around them.. i just hope they make enough smoke for someone to spot it and give them some spotlight and recognition.
