⋘"Glass Wall Consciousness" is only the second track ever released by the brand new, Philadelphia-based band BOROUGHS! Prior to throwing this track up on their Bandcamp page on March 6, 2013, they had offered up one other song by the name "Breathe Deep" (not too long before the song you're currently listening to was offered to fans).

No doubt BOROUGHS will be releasing at least an EP if not a full length record sometime in the not-too-distant future, though given the individual member's participation in other acts, it remains to be seen when anything more happens. ⋙

◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ BAND BIOGRAPHY & INFORMATION ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊

Of all the bands featured on Volume 4 of this mixtape series, it is perhaps BOROUGHS who we know the least about; no Facebook page, no Last.FM page, no Reverb Nation account or Twitter......the only thing this band currently has is a Bandcamp site with precisely two songs on it.

Skimming through Facebook, however, I did manage to find ONE piece of info on the band; their first show ever played in front of an audience took place on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 alongside WAXEATER, BABY BOY, BRAILLE, & HYPOXIA + EX REV.

According to the extremely short description of BOROUGHS on that event page, the band is made up of members from +HIRS+, Delorean, and other Philly-based acts. We'll just have to wait and see if this is a sider project or something more serious down the line. For now, enjoy this killer track and if you do, feel free to visit the band's Bandcamp page to download the other at "Pay What You Want".
