⋘The track currently playing through your speakers was written & performed by Greensboro, North Carolina based grindcore / goregrind act BRAINxTOILET!

The release it's found on is simply known by the moniker "EP", though one has to assume it could just as easily be deemed a self-titled short-player by the band (it's unclear which one is actually the case on their bandcamp).

Either way, the album notes go on to explain it was recorded in October 2012 and February 2013 at Legitimate Business in Greensboro, North Carolina. It saw an official release in March, not too long after the studio sessions were complete.⋙

◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ BAND BIOGRAPHY & INFORMATION ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊

BrainxToilet are a North Carolina-based grindcore band featuring members of Priapus, Engulfed In Afterbirth, and Fuss. Their first show ever played was in their homestate, at a club called Katmandu’s; taking place on November 17, 2012.

As such, there isn't much info out there about this outfit of musicians; for anyone who follows grindcore closely, the name Priapus should be well known to you, as they're becoming a pretty big underground grind band throughout the nation if not the world. Clearly, based on said facts, we can speculate as to the status of BrainxToilet being a side-project and/or something fun to do whilst the "main" band is not involved in writing, recording, or playing shows.

Due to lack of added info, here is a small excerpt revealing what the band sounded like during their first live performance:

"Opening this killer show was BrainXToilet, a refreshing mix of blistering, technical grindcore and crushing breakdowns from Greensboro, NC. This band features members of another grind band from Greensboro, Priapus. Jordan, also the vocalist of Priapus, stomped in a fit of rage, pushing bystanders away as he yelled into the microphone. Jeremy, guitarist of Priapus, blasted away on his drumset while the guitarist shredded with ease."
