⋘This track is taken from the brand new album by The Psyke Project, entitled "Guillotine" and due out on May 6, 2013. Release notes are as follows:

The music of THE PSYKE PROJECT can best be described as massive, grim and disturbing - djectives that just barely describe the dystopian and bonecrushing sounds from this Danish hardcore/metal outfit. In it's ten years of existence the band has always been an unique entity, which through artistic integrity, more-than-intense live shows and an strong DIY attitude, has shown the way for a wave of young, heavy bands, not at least in their native Denmark.

THE PSYKE PROJECT display this fully on their fifth effort "Guillotine" which will be released on May 6th. "Guillotine" is a non-comprimising monster of an metallic hardcore album on which the band unfolds their bleak musical vision on 11 bonecrushing tracks, produced by Jacob Bredahl (HateSphere, The Kandidate a.o.) and recorded live in only 7 days.

Vinyl (12" 180g. gatefold w. cd inside) release on May 6th via Bloated Veins / Black Lake / Braincrushing / Swarm Of Nails / Molestin. Album produced by Jacob Bredahl.

The Psyke Project was formed in 2001 and has its home in Copenhagen, Denmark, Scandinavia. The music is intense and heavy with influences ranging from sludge / post hardcore to punk metal. The Psyke Project has released four full lengths and one split album (with as we fight) and toured most of Europe/UK several times.

Truthseeker sert-il à Brendan James Hayter et Alex Fewell, deux artistes versés dans le death metal, d'excursion éphémère hors du sentier ? Je pose cette question parce que ce projet n'a eu le droit qu'à deux sorties : Weightless at Dawn que nous avons ici et Blue Oblivion sorti la même année — et depuis, rien. C'est bien dommage au vu de toutes les qualités réunies dans ce petit E.P. : bien que taillées dans un post-rock assez lent à tendances doom metal, c'est d'une légèreté exceptionnelle !
