⋘"Swollen Tongues" is one of six tracks which appears on l'WHALER's debut EP, simply titled "HOPE/LESS"; we do know the band plays a very intricate and unique style of post-hardcore mixed with a good deal of experimentation on their part.

Obviously, based on the statement below (from SoundCloud), they are based out of Glasgow; aside from those several minor facts, your guess is as good as ours. We strongly suggest you pick up their album ASAP, message the band and tell them how fucking awesome they are so that perhaps they'll create SOME type of social media presence with info & updates. It would be a damn shame to see these guys release just one EP and then disappear into the wind - they're far too talented for a short-lived career.

YIKES!!! There have been a good deal of bands on this mixtape as well as on the pending fifth edition whom have very little information out there about them, but attempting to find ANYTHING about I'Whaler has proven pretty much impossible.

The above quote was taken from the band's SOUNDCLOUD page (link below), and is literally the only thing which can be found anywhere on the net. No Facebook page, no Last.fm page or Reverb Nation presence....nothing.

It's safe to assume that since their debut recording "HOPE​/​LESS" was released back in August of 2012, the band must have only formed a short time prior to that; additionally, it may or may not be a side project by the members (whom we have no idea about their identities LOL).

It's a damn shame we can't share more info with you, the fans, because this band absolutely destroys on record and no doubt in a live setting, too. I suppose the best advice we can provide for the time being is to keep your eyes on their Bandcamp and Soundcloud pages, seeing as how that's all they offer at the moment.
