Comes w/ "on the homefront" limited cassette for the first 50 orders. We are not selling this tape at shows or giving it to promoters, it is for Elders Rasp 11" mailorders only.

Founding member Wil (vocals)l and former lead guitarist, Dan Baranello, started the band in 2004 with honorary member and former drummer Dan H. - After a few rehearsals, Keith, Tom and Rich were all brought in on bass at different times (Tom and Rich overlapped , creating the infamous buckshot "2 bassists phase", which was crucial to our evolution - shout to Rich Mullen).

After a brief hiatus, the band regrouped in fall of 2005 with what would become the definitive BSFL lineup for years to come - Tom on bass, Will screaming, Dan B. playing guitar and the then newly recruited Sal on drums. We released our first full length, "Universal Goat Tilt", on Burnitdown,/rebuild records, who would soon fold as a label but remain true as friends and supporters (shout to Jon Berg). After a few split 7"s and tapes, the band would self - release our 2nd full length, "Anchors of the Armless gods" on 12" vinyl.

In early 2010, long time friend and co-conspirator Paulo P. - A.K.A. "The Hawaiian", was brought onboard team Buckshot for additional guitar support, making him the only member of BSFL not originally from Long Island. In 2012, Dan left BSFL and we recorded our long delayed 3rd full length album, entitled "Elders Rasp". Shortly after the recording, Paulo was too scared to stay in the band and left, but not before teaching the songs to our 2 newest guitarists - Terrel and Rick. Now in 2013, with a new album, shows on the calendar and our most solid lineup in years, we are ready to plunge headlong back into the abyss of underground punk rock and metal from which we came. Along the way we have made a great many friends, a couple of enemies and have acquired quite a blurry area in between. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT, DESPITE THE VIOLENCE, WE LOVE YOU. BSFL 2013.
