” - I don’t think they play at all fairly,” - Alice began, in rather a complaining tone, - ” and they all quarrel so dreadfully one can’t hear oneself speak. And they don’t seem to have any rules in particular; at least, if there are, nobody attends to them. And you’ve no idea how confusing it is all the things being alive.”

Bears In Ushanka are a chaotic hardcore / mathcore / grind / experimental metal band from Tver, Russia. Their style is quite unique, as is the case with pretty much every Russian grind/mathcore band I've personally come across. There's an element of silliness and playfulness which persists in their sound, yet when at their finest the band can be just about as brutal as anyone out there.

Unfortunately, no member of the Sociopathic Team is a fluent Russian speaker or reader; therefore, since the majority of info out there on the band is in their native language, we'll let the fans who enjoy "We Lost Our Reasons" and the other tracks/albums available on Bandcamp to seek out additional info on these guys if they wish to.

Truthseeker sert-il à Brendan James Hayter et Alex Fewell, deux artistes versés dans le death metal, d'excursion éphémère hors du sentier ? Je pose cette question parce que ce projet n'a eu le droit qu'à deux sorties : Weightless at Dawn que nous avons ici et Blue Oblivion sorti la même année — et depuis, rien. C'est bien dommage au vu de toutes les qualités réunies dans ce petit E.P. : bien que taillées dans un post-rock assez lent à tendances doom metal, c'est d'une légèreté exceptionnelle !
