⋘"In My Time Of Dining", which is clearly a play on "In My Time Of Dying", is one of fifteen tracks to be featured on the upcoming full length debut by grindcore act BEG. The album will see a CD-R release through Hygiene Records first, followed by a 12" vinyl offering via Superfi Records a little while later.

The precise street date of the CD-R version is unknown at this time; "Beg", in addition to three other songs off the debut, have been available for streaming through Bandcamp (link provided below) for the last three months, at least. Originally, Hygiene Records announced a June date of release, though obviously it never happened that way. Whatever the reasoning behind the delay is, based on the four tracks we can hear now, this is going to be one monster grind album; perhaps contending for best of the year!

There's almost zero information available anywhere about BEG; what we do know, aside from their debut record containing 15 tracks of grind madness & the plans for it to be released on limited edition CD-R & vinyl through two different labels, is that the band consists of three members - opting to go without a bassist, much like PIG DESTROYER and a number of other grinders these days.

Moreover, the reason fans of grind & extreme music in general should be very excited about this band is that BEG consists of members from THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN as well as THE ACT OF BURNING WATER! Both of these bands are absolute pro's at what they play, so with such skilled musicians coming together and forming a band which, by everything we can tell from hearing "In My Time Of Dining" and the other three tracks on BC, is even crazier than their "full time" outfits, this should be one of the most heavily anticipated releases of 2013. It's a shame it hasn't had more publicity surrounding it, though perhaps they intended for it to be that way; then again, it could simply be a matter of the album facing delays and until further notice info is being kept under wraps. We'll see....soon enough!

Equinox, split entre Ancient Tundra et Old Forgotten Lands, est une expérience de dark ambiant qui nous met entre chiens et loups. Bien que rétros, les atmosphères sont hypnotiques et chargées de mystères. Finalement, c'est dommage que le concept de l'équinoxe ne soit pas poussé jusqu'au bout et que le temps imparti pour les deux artiste ne soit pas équitable car N Skog finit par éclipser involontairement Elan O'Neal. En tout cas, les cinquante minutes sont certes lugubres mais très agréables. Jordan Vauvert

De l'action de descendre sciemment vers le néant au constat simple, lancé dans un dernier soupir, comme si on était mis devant le fait accompli : There is no beauty left here... Mais contre toute attente, ce chant du cygne d'Exiled from Light n'est pas une acceptation résignée de la mort. Mort (je parle de l'artiste) est animé de l'énergie du désespoir, cette énergie qui fait accomplir des choses extraordinaires quand tout est perdu et ça rend son DSBM très beau, paradoxalement.
