⋘The long awaited debut full length from Cyanic "Litanies Of Lust Unholy" crushes through twelve tracks with wave after wave of relentless satanic violence! Raging brutal blackened death metal with no breakdowns, no sweeps, only total blasting hatred for fans of 1349, Cannibal Corpse, Mortician.

If it hadn't occurred to you by this point, "LURKING BELOW" happens to be one of the twelve monstrous songs which make up the long overdue full length album by CYANIC, a band who mixes heavy elements of black metal with death metal, grindcore, industrialized electronics, and horrific noise - all very much in line with something you'd expect to hear from an ANAAL NATHRAKH record, yet all the while CYANIC manage to have created a unique sound that can only be called their own.

Cyanic was created in 2004 in the San Jose area. The intent is to fuse various styles of Metal including Death Metal, Black Metal, Goregrind and Thrash. The founding members were Jason Bursese and Rudy Pina after playing in Sentenced To Burn. Soon after Alex Braslin joined as well as Stephen Haynes. Stephen did vocals for roughly 2 years and left on good terms due to family situations. After trying out handfuls of singers Andre Cornejo from Casket Blaster joined around 2008. Cyanic also went through a handful of bassist ending up with Jeff Hughell from Braindrill. Jeff played many shows but ended up also leaving on good terms. The current line up features Brian Wood Playing bass.

Since the release of their debut album the band has been touring as much as possible in hopes of gaining new audiences & fans, expanding their reach. It is our hope here at Sociopathic Sound Records that we can help them in this endeavor; as these guys fucking rock. It did take quite a few years before they managed to get everything in order, especially with the lineup, but the end result is one of the best albums of 2012; I, for one, cannot wait to hear what the band's NEXT release will sound like. Best guess? EVIL AS HELL!!
