⋘"Paid With Blood" comes off of the brand new, debut full length record by U.K. deathgrind/thrash/hardcore outfit BLACK SKIES BURN; released independently by the band on June 14, 2013, the album is called "To Punish And Enslave".

Interestingly enough, while the band first formed in 2005 (Oxford, U.K.), "To Punish And Enslave" is an album 8 years in the making, as the only other musical output Black Skies Burn offered fans between 2005 and 2013 is a two-track demo which went by the title "Lamb of Sacrifice" (August 2006), and additionally what was at one point deemed a debut full length called "Consequences And Repercussions", though the latter is largely unavailable anywhere in the world - by either physical or digital means (technically, it was released on October 10, 2008, but good luck finding a copy of it anywhere - if you do, please message us!).

The original version of "PAID WITH BLOOD" sounds significantly more raw, as though the band recorded it "live in the studio" -- it's currently streaming on ReverbNation (link below); moreover, we can speculate the 'rough' edition of said song appeared on "Consequences And Repercussions", where it is also approximately 35 seconds longer in playing time. Black Skies Burn obviously touched the track up, added new mixing & mastering, and cut away certain parts they felt were unnecessary.

You'll find a direct link to purchase the new album in physical format from the band, who, for the time being, seem to be the only source from whence to grab this monster of a release up; per their posting(s) on Facebook & Twitter, the album is available on CD-only (no digital or vinyl as of right now, though at least the former should change in time if the band wishes to expand their fan base to a wider audience), either through their BigCartel site or during shows.⋙
