⋘"Stab" is taken from "Dermal Harvest", the debut outputting by Swedish death metallers SKINEATER. The band showed a great deal of promise on their 2010 "Rot" demo and therefore it's no surprise they were signed to an awesome label such as PULVERISED RECORDS, joining a roster full of the best in underground extreme music.

Yet...despite how much promise the young band exhibited on the demo material, I don't think anyone could have predicted just how much growth these guys have gone through in a meager two and a half years. "Dermal Harvest" is an album that can match ANY death metal record that has been released this year. The biggest obstacle the band faces in showing up on year-end "best of" lists is the release date of the record; Pulverised offered it up on February 18, 2013, just after the turn of the new year and a few months before the thick of things are happening in the world of metal - and really all music in general when it comes to new releases; prime season, shall we say?

The foul harvest is finally ripe for the picking. Swedish supergroup SKINEATER is on a murderous rampage with the band's debut effort "Dermal Harvest", a petrifying array of extremely deadly and precision-cut Death Metal!

De-skinned to perfection, "Dermal Harvest" showcases some of the most resilient veterans in the Swedish Extreme scene, with past and present members from Wombbath, In Thy Dreams, Dark Funeral, Carnal Forge, Defleshed, etc. The end result is an unstoppable skin-butcher unit literally flaying everything in its path! Never has Death Metal extremity been so well brewed with melodic darkness in a long time.

Recorded at various locations, mixed and mastered at Sweden's Studio Underground (Carnal Forge, Steel Attack, Fleshcrawl, Necrodeath, etc), and with the striking album artwork designed and conceptualized by Mathias Björkbacka, "Dermal Harvest" is without doubt a world-class audio violence with sick torturous intent.⋙

Skineater was created in last quarter of 2008 when Håkan decided to leave his position as bass player in GrandExit (ex vicious) to focus on his main instrument guitar again which he played in bands like In Thy Dreams & Wombbath. Real soon a first tune was born and he asked Jeramie Kling , drummer in The Absence, Infernaeon & Ninety Minute reflex was interested in joining the project. So he did! Summer of 2009 they recorded two tunes at Jonas Kjellgren's place, Dismantling and He Was murdered, Jeramie also did the vocals on those tunes. The coming autumn a couple of labels were contacted and at least one label showed interest but the time just kept going and going and........... However, to make a long story short, things were moving real slow.

In February 2011 Stefan Westerberg drummer in Carnal Forge and In Thy Dreams among others joined Skineater to manage the bass which he also played in Steel Attack.

With Stefan on board new energy was brought to the "band". He and Håkan immediatly went back on the chase on labels to get a decent deal. Didn't take too long til Pulverised Records showed their interest and the deal was a fact.

With that the "band" went through some changes. To be a fully functional band eager to get out and play live!
