⋘This track amounts to precisely half of the material written, recorded, and released by FULGORA, a brand new band who recently offered up their debut 2-track EP in two formats; a limited edition 7" vinyl pressing (only 100 copies will ever be made and they're already close to being sold out), as well as a 100% free download of the EP via J. ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ BAND BIOGRAPHY & INFORMATION ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊

Unfortunately, there isn't much information out there pertaining to the biographical nature of FULGORA on any of their numerous social media sites; however, this is what we do know...

The band is based out of St. Louis, Missouri as well as Baltimore, Maryland (strange for one band to be from two places, but that fact can be put into perspective when you consider two of the members live in the St. Louis area while ADAM JARVIS along with his fellow bandmates in MISERY INDEX live in/around Baltimore --- plus, now that he's also in PIG DESTROYER, he spends a good deal of time in northern Virginia/Washington D.C.).

Master drummer Adam Jarvis is quite a busy man these days, actively being a member of the three aforementioned groups! How he's able to juggle all of the necessities & responsibilities involved in participating with not one, not two, but three outfits is beyond me; let's just say he's a death/grind god and be done with it! LOL!

As of this moment, nothing much else is known about Fulgora aside from the expectation of a debut full length album sometime later this year or perhaps in 2014 - it's a tossup since Adam will be busy playing shows with Pig Destroyer, recording a new full length with Misery Index, and somehow get around to writing & recording with his other bandmates in this group. Still, if his work on "Book Burner", the last Misery Index album ("Heirs To Thievery"), or "Risen/Artifice" is any indication, fans should expect nothing less than some of the best extreme metal drumming in the world!

Truthseeker sert-il à Brendan James Hayter et Alex Fewell, deux artistes versés dans le death metal, d'excursion éphémère hors du sentier ? Je pose cette question parce que ce projet n'a eu le droit qu'à deux sorties : Weightless at Dawn que nous avons ici et Blue Oblivion sorti la même année — et depuis, rien. C'est bien dommage au vu de toutes les qualités réunies dans ce petit E.P. : bien que taillées dans un post-rock assez lent à tendances doom metal, c'est d'une légèreté exceptionnelle !
