⋘This devastating song by ANTIGAMA is off of their most recent full length album, entitled "Meteor" and released via SELFMADEGOD RECORDS on May 28, 2013. The entire CD consists of 11 memorable, crushing tracks which follow the pursuit of experimental grindcore & death metal set by the band from its inception many years ago. A great deal of acts have attempted to accomplish what these Polish maniacs have managed to, yet the vast majority have failed. After putting out a number of full lengths through Relapse Records, the band decided to go back to their roots label-wise, hitting up the U.K. based Selfmadegod, which clearly worked out very well for them.

Antigama create avantgarde grindcore & bizarre noise since 2000. The band formed by guitarist Sebastian Rokicki (Different State, Garden Of Worm) and drummer Krzysztof Bentkowski (Sparagmos, Damnable) released their first album "Intellect Made Us Blind" in 2002 with Łukasz Myszkowski (Sparagmos) on vocals and Maciej Moruś (Starzy Singers, Mały Szu) on bass. In the next years they recorded four regular albums for different labels (Discomfort – 2004, Zeroland – 2005, Resonance – 2007 and Warning – 2009) and over a dozen of smaller releases (singles, splits, compilations).

In 2006 the band signed a record deal with Relapse Records. Antigama played a number of gigs, festivals and tours in Europe and in 2009 went on tour in USA which included a show on one of the most prestigious American extreme music festivals "Maryland Deathfest". The band also collaborates with the theatrical director Marcin Liber; it has resulted in creating live music for the drama "Spring Of Death" and seven day-by-day appearances in the performance "Zawiadamiamy Was, że Żyjemy" in Warsaw Uprising Museum.

Following the end of their contract with Relapse, the band opted to re-sign with Selfmadegod Records and immediately began work on a new release, eventually named "Stop The Chaos" EP, coming out in May of 2012. Shortly thereafter, much to the dismay of many metalheads, the band continued to do things their own way, refusing to conform to anybody's standards by releasing a REMIX album of "Stop The Chaos". While it did not receive the most warming reviews, it didn't stop the band from gaining inspiration......they played some live shows in Europe, and then went back into the studio to write & record "METEOR". The remix album was all but forgotten after "Meteor" came out, for it is one of the best grind records of 2013 and perhaps the best of the band's long and storied career! Antigama aren't going away anytime soon!
