⋘Officially released on February 9, 2013 was the full length album "Pró-Exploração" by Brazilian grind/noise/death band NARAYAMA. One of the best tracks on the album is featured right here on our mixtape series, "Orgulho", and despite the lyrics being written & performed entirely in Spanish, the group's socio-political commentary is striking even for those who have never studied the outfit's native language. No; rather, it is the music itself which speaks volumes regarding just how fucking pissed off and outspoken Narayama is about the issues in question.

"Pró-Exploração" is offered as a 100% FREE download on the group's bandcamp site, much like we offer these mixtapes for free. NARAYAMA is a four piece Brazilian style Powerviolence with dual vocals, awesome shit from these guys.

Amazing Brazilian Powerviolence / Hardcore!!! Narayama was formed in the middle of 2010 by four sad creatures that hate the hypocrite love of god. Narayama is a response to the fact that humanity is a walking disaster on earth and our creations are just a series of selfish choices, mistakes and harmful actions toward animals, the environment and ourselves. We just wish that there's still some hope that hasn't been murdered and buried by the society or stomped by some stupid god.

Truthseeker sert-il à Brendan James Hayter et Alex Fewell, deux artistes versés dans le death metal, d'excursion éphémère hors du sentier ? Je pose cette question parce que ce projet n'a eu le droit qu'à deux sorties : Weightless at Dawn que nous avons ici et Blue Oblivion sorti la même année — et depuis, rien. C'est bien dommage au vu de toutes les qualités réunies dans ce petit E.P. : bien que taillées dans un post-rock assez lent à tendances doom metal, c'est d'une légèreté exceptionnelle !
