⋘The song "Premature Burial" and cover which we've posted along with it was actually the first track ever put out by Unattended Funeral; they threw it onto their Bandcamp page back in March 2013 as a sort of teaser for their upcoming 4-track debut tape/EP.

You can grab the track at "Name Your Own Price"; for the time being, it's the only one available for download. It seems as though the band is awaiting an official release of their tape prior to offering the other three tracks digitally. Still, anyone interested in these guys can stream the entire tape on Bandcamp (link below).

Released in edition of 100 all handmade tapes with silkscreen printed heavy paper cover. Limited pre-order edition includes white wrapper with blind-print.

Unattended Funeral is a bassless powerviolence/grindcore trio consisting only of BxPx members (BxPx bassplayer plays guitar here!). Our musical inspiration comes from bands such as Iron Lung/Magrudergrind/Agents Of Abhorrence/Weekend Nachos/The Endless Blockade/Insect Warfare etc. We try to create music which is dark/gloomy and sludgy but also agressive and really fast at the same time.

The band recently finished recording, mixing and mastering their debut EP, a four-track effort available in only two formats; digital & a limited edition run of tapes (see release info in the section above "biography" for the breakdown of tape options).

As of May 2013, the band doesn't have much of an online presence; they're not completely missing from social media, though a Facebook page wouldn't hurt them to create. What we do know, aside from what's already been written, is UNATTENDED FUNERAL comes from Slovakia and within their ranks is Jakub who is also a member of punk act BOILING POINT (a link to the latter group's bandcamp page is offered below, just for added measure).

Truthseeker sert-il à Brendan James Hayter et Alex Fewell, deux artistes versés dans le death metal, d'excursion éphémère hors du sentier ? Je pose cette question parce que ce projet n'a eu le droit qu'à deux sorties : Weightless at Dawn que nous avons ici et Blue Oblivion sorti la même année — et depuis, rien. C'est bien dommage au vu de toutes les qualités réunies dans ce petit E.P. : bien que taillées dans un post-rock assez lent à tendances doom metal, c'est d'une légèreté exceptionnelle !
