Over the years, both the band and Relapse Records had different plans to release additional material by the band; some in the form of splits, others EP's, and there was even talk of a second full length album around 2010/2011. Obviously none of those concepts ever panned out......until now!!!

Acquired directly from frontman and founder Pete (also of grind legends Benumb) as a means of helping both Sociopathic Sound as well as Agenda of Swine gain a wider following - and obviously to debut the band's first new material in over 5 years, this killer track exemplifies the more direct and heavier direction the band's sound has taken during writing/recording sessions for the new record.

Pete was kind enough to send us one other track from their new effort, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that whenever it does see the light of day, AGENDA OF SWINE's new album will be a top contender for best album of 2013!!! Everyone should be VERY FUCKING EXCITED about this!!!!⋙

The idea for Agenda Of Swine came to life in 2004, though it wasn’t until the Spring of 2006 when Pete Ponitkoff, Jeff Lenormand, John Gotelli, Emad Jaghab, and Jason Behan formed the band. This formation came together while Ponitkoff’s previous project BUNUMB and Lenormand and Gotelli’s VULGAR PIGEONS went on indefinite hiatus.

By the end of 2006, Agenda Of Swine was ready to begin work on their debut album The band called on friend and engineer Zach Ohren to record the album, taking their time because “rushing never does anyone any good”. They would go in and out of Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, CA for the next 12 months culling together the audio arsenal making up Waves Of Human Suffering.

In the Fall of 2007, Ponitkoff sent off some samples of what Agenda Of Swine was working on to his old friends at Relapse Records who became immediately interested in the project. The deal was signed and Waves Of Human Suffering was set for an ’08 release date.

Waves Of Human Suffering is exactly what the title implies, a non-stop assault to the senses decrying the horrors humanity ritualistically bestows upon itself. But amidst the controlled chaos, if you listen beyond the walls of intense riffing, double time percussion and hardcore ethos, you can clearly hear that Agenda Of Swine optimistically retains hope for future change. The best Grinding Metal has always been punk as fuck!

Waves Of Human Suffering will see its international release in June 2008. Agenda Of Swine will back its release with some Spring and Summer shows alongside Attitude Adjustment, Cattle Decapitation, Part-time Christians, and more.

Since around 2009, the band has been on an indefinite hiatus as the members have worked on various other musical endeavors (some more than others, of course). As a matter of fact, up until I recently began speaking with Pete (also of BENUMB fame), I had no idea the band was still considered "active" by anyone's standards, including their own.

Yet, as the finishing touches were being put on Volume 4 of this mixtape series, Pete emailed me saying the band is currently in writing & recording mode again, with a brand new full length (only their second since 2008) due out sometime later in 2013. As luck may have it, Pete was not only kind enough to offer up several brand new, never-before-heard tracks to choose from for inclusion on this mixtape, his level of excitement about having AoS appear on it is through the roof.

So, here's a shout out to you, Pete!!! On behalf of everyone on the Sociopathic Team, I'd like to thank you for helping us out and in turn we sincerely hope everyone will love this ridiculously amazing track as much as we all do! Moreover, it should certainly whet the appetites of old school fans of the band, such as myself and many others.

That's right, metal freaks!! You heard it here FIRST! AGENDA OF SWINE IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!!!!! Expect their new, as-yet-untitled LP to be out sometime in the latter half of 2013 - most likely through Relapse Records just as their debut was.
